What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a form of healthcare that can diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions. Osteopaths specialise in the treatment of pain and injury, ranging from acute to chronic presentations.
At our Manchester clinic, we provide expert care for sports injuries, repetitive strains, back pain, neck pain, disc bulges (commonly known as 'slipped' discs), sciatica, shoulder impingement, muscle strains, ligament sprains, arthritis, and general aches and pains.
There are many similarities between Osteopaths, Physios, and Chiropractors, so you may find some of the techniques used are familiar to you. Both Physios and Osteopaths utilise massage techniques, and stretching, whilst Osteopaths and Chiropractors use similar joint and spinal manipulations.
Not sure what is best for you? Get in touch and I will happily answer any queries you have.
